Founded in 1959, the Colorado Water Quality Association is dedicated to promoting the principles of honesty, integrity and professionalism for the water quality improvement industry. Likewise, it is dedicated to preserving the consuming public's right to quality water. The CWQA is a not-for-profit state trade association representing the household, commercial and industrial water treatment industry. CWQA maintains a close dialogue with other organizations representing different aspects of the water treatment industry in order to better serve consumers, government officials and industry members. CWQA is a resource and information source, a voice for the industry, an educator for professionals and a communicator to the public. Our site is designed to communicate the CWQA’s philosophy, news and upcoming convention schedules to members and the public. It is also designed to serve as a resource to those wishing to improve the quality of their water, as well as to those involved in the water conditioning profession. Use it to keep abreast of industry happenings with the CWQA News and other helpful information. Useful CWQA and industry related contacts are listed as well. Note that the CWQA Table Of Contents/Search page is an especially helpful page from which to explore the web site, as it lists just about all pages with links to each. CWQA's mission and purpose is to ensure the individual consumers right to enhance the quality of water by providing continuing education and training to our members, government entities and the general public. At the same time we provide a networking forum for all three groups to collectively advance the state of water conditioning in Colorado. The Colorado Water Quality Association or CWQA is a trade association of water quality improvement professionals and their suppliers. The CWQA believes strongly in the value of education in the field of water conditioning and purification to help the consumer choose the best solution for their water problems, and to help the companies and their employees achieve the highest level of professionalism. Check out some CWQA people, the essence of our association. Our yearly conference & seminars are a highlight of our commitment to share ideas and learn at the same time. We give water treatment professionals the opportunity to become WQA certified and to take the test during our upcoming conference in October. WQA certification is a voluntary credentialing process. Water treatment professionals can enhance their credibility and demonstrate their depth of knowledge and experience to both customers and employers through WQA’s professional certification program. The CWQA and its members proudly adhere to the National WQA’s Code of Ethics, our very own CWQA Code of Ethics and abide by the WQA’s “Antitrust Statement.” The only way to represent the industry on the “big issues” is to help speak with a “big voice”. CWQA needs YOU—your financial help, your ideas, your time and your expertise. Please support your industry and your business by supporting the CWQA. Fill out an on-line CWQA membership application now and take your place alongside the finest group of water professionals in the country.
